Mannings New York Giants swept their way into the Super Bowl on
Sunday in a game that was a ratings smash, good news for Fox that
likely took the sting out of a lackluster return by Idol.

The Giants victory over the San Francisco 49ers attracted an
average of 57.6 million viewers, the second most-watched NFC title
game since 1982 and third most ever, the Nielsen Co. said. During
the games peak from 10 to 10:30 pm ET, 69 million people were
watching. Only 2010s Minnesota-New Orleans game and the 1982
Dallas-San Francisco game had larger NFC championship

As the famine and drought in Africa continue to rage, DC Entertainment is turning to its strongest superheroes to help the 13 million people in need of lifesaving aid.

DC Comics announced Monday that it will band together its Justice League characters — Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg — to promote its We Can Be Heroes campaign, an initiative that will donate $2 million to three humanitarian organizations working in Africa.

INDIANAPOLIS Just because Gov. Mitch Daniels reached a sales tax agreement with online retail giant Amazon.com doesn#146;t mean there isn#146;t more work for legislators to do.

An opinion published by the US Department of Justices Office of Legal Counsel in late December has opened the way for state lotteries to sell tickets via the Internet. And now people are wondering if poker, casinos, and other online gaming enterprises can be far behind.
